We can help you become the best string player at your school.....in this county..........in the state of Florida!
Our faculty and guest clinicians are very excited for our 4th annual Summer Strings Camp, which is open to all school-age students. This is going to be an incredible week of playing and community and we can't wait to see you there.
We pack a lot into one week, including large group ensembles, masterclasses, technique classes, fiddle and folk music classes, and many enriching pedagogical activities.
For students that are not current BSA members, we ask that they send a short video of them playing a piece of their choice so we can best place them in a group they will succeed in.

Dr. Park has been an avid supporter of what we do here for years, and it is a privilege to have him back this year. Students who have worked with him always come back and tell us:
"That was life-changing."

Experience working with a group of students from throughout the county, coming together to work on challenging music and to perform it at a high quality.

Section classes are divided by instruments, focusing on section playing skills and individual technique. Students will work with our faculty of professional musicians and teachers as well as our guest clinicians.

We take the needs of every student seriously and strive to give every individual an empowering experience. We plan out games and activities to give students an opportunity to make new connections across the county.
Tuition for the camp is $300. Payments must be made before camp check-in. Click here to pay via PayPal, or contact us for other payment options.
We want every deserving student to have access to opportunities of growth. If payment is a strong barrier for you, let us know and we will be happy to discuss scholarship opportunities.
There will be a student check-in before camp starting at 8:30am. Please arrive with enough time each day for students to unpack and be ready to play at 9am.
Parents of very young children, we ask that you please accompany students to the sign-in desk.
There is grass lot with parking available behind the building.
It is recommended that students have some experience, even if it is just a month or two of private lessons before camp. Our curriculum is designed for school-aged children and recent high school graduates.
We will have a concert on the final day of camp that is open to friends and family. This will take place at 1:30pm at Northside Presbyterian.

Interested in participating in our 2026-2027 Conservatory but aren't quite sure? Come to camp and meet our instructors and see what we're all about. We promise you'll want to stick around.
